should you speak up when you hear a racist comment?

Ignore them

If u speak up it just adds fuel to the fire,
it gives them more reason to do it. Responding to racist comments only makes you a victim of their insult.
When someone says a hateful comment, he gains a sense of power and control because you acknowledge him!
Ignore it.
I think people that make racist comments have a lower intelligence than I do, therefore I don't bother responding to their comments.
Help yourself and do the same….
